- Rob 103 vs Matt 130
  - This game was ugly, for one side at least
  - Andy gonna Andy for the Bengals as the Mixon/Boyd/Uzomah Tiger trio totals 22 [(alliteration much?) also speaking of tigers, let the LSU band play neck!]
  - Tarik Cohen gives Matt a prayer heading into MNF with 21 pts on 8rec/69/1td21pts
  - Matt trailed 103-62 with Eli/OBJ/Coleman
  - Matt rallies scoring nearly 70 thanks to long TD’s by OBJ and Coleman, keeping his title defense hopes alive moving to 3-4, the game at 4-3
- Jake 159 vs Jeff 150
  - Verbal meme: Me as Woody looking astonished, this scoreboard as Buzz lightyear lit-up with the caption, “points, points everywhere”
  - Jeff: Mahomes just keeps scoring with 35 pts on 300+ and 4 TD’s *yawn
  - Downtown John Brown tally’s 27 with 7/134/1TD
  - Jake: Kareem seems to be rounding into form with 36 pts on a 3 TD night on a well-rounded rushing and receiving performance
  - Cam Newton clutched up late with 27 points on the day many coming in a 4^th quarter rally
  - Jake trailed 150-130 heading into MNF with Sterling Shepard and Austin Hooper to go
  - Sterling Shepard hauls in 5/167 covering the 20 point spread himself as Jake takes the dub 159-150 moving both teams to 3-4
- Sean 118 vs Anthony 149
  - Oh how the turn tables have….
  - Sean: Newly acquired James White scores 2 TDS on a 29 pt day
  - Goff and Woods combine for 30 while Kamara’s diminished role continues as he manages a meager 15 pt performance
  - Anthony: Todd meets his 30 pt requirement
  - George Kittle clutches up for 20 on 5/98/1TD
  - Pour one out for Bortles (he’s done)
  - Both teams to 4-3!
- Jess 122 vs Danny 127
  - Jess: Theilen did stuff again 27 pts
  - Ertz would be a WR1, scoring 23pts 9/138/0
  - Some low outputs from Goodwin, Keelan Cole and Nyheim Hines cost Jess
  - Danny: Emmanuel Sanders has a big night on TNF 6/102/1TD
  - Jameis makes good on his FAAB cost scoring 23 points
  - Take Danny off the watch-list

- Mason 150 vs Zach 139
  - Zach: Dorman’s squad showed up for work
  - 23,16,21,14,15,16,11,9,14… not bad
  - Carried by captain Tom Brady with 23 on a 3TD day
  - Mason had 4 players and a low scoring defense total 97 heading into MNF thanks in large part to Mitchell’s 34-point day. He had 81 yards rushing including an 8-yard rushing TD
  - 139-97 heading into MNF
  - Saquon scores 20+ for the 7^th straight week and Julio goes for 100+ without a score (stop me if you heard this before)
  - Mason gets back to his winning ways, moving to 6-1, Zach to 3-4

Introduction/Welcome
Week 6 recap’s
- Rob 142 vs Danny 143 Game of the Week
  - Solid production for the game top to bottom with the exception of Jordan Howard who managed only 4 points and fumbled a carry at the goal-line
  - Tyler Boyd scores 2 TD 25 pts and appears to be the best waiver pickup of the season so far
  - Danny’s boom/bust squad boomed and busted
  - Wentz scored 26 pts on a 3 TD performance on TNF, Jameis did one better throwing 4TD’s and 395 yards totaling 34 pts on the day.
  - Emmanuel Sanders came up clutch for Danny with 25pts on 7/115/td in the afternoon games
  - Danny carried a 27-point lead into SNF, with the game having Gronk/Edleman
  - Brady runs in a late score when he was looking Edelman’s/Gronk’s way
  - Gronk gets shoestring tackled on 2 plays late in the 4^th as well
  - Danny eats a W, squeaking out a win 143-142 thanks to superior QB performances
- Jake 147 vs Jess 136
  - Kareem hunt has a big night for Jake 10/80 on the ground adding 5/105/td through the air for a 30pt night
  - Cam Newton add’s 25 of his own in another solid QB day
  - Melvin Gordon does what he does, scored multiple TD’s (3), goes for over 100 yards and sprinkles in some catches for a 35 pt day
  - Amari Cooper and Cooper Kupp both get injured, nasty concussion for Amari and a leg injury for Kupp. the pair total 1 pt for Jess on the day
  - Jess entered MNF trailing 111-84
  - Devante Adams sealed Jess’s fate with 36pts on 10/132/2 scores
  - Jess to 3-3 while Jake moves to 2-4
- Sean 112 vs Zach 118
  - Big Ben/Juju Steelers stack totals 46 points for Sean
  - Felipe scores only 16 somehow in a dominant performance against the Browns
  - Brady adds 25 pts including a late rushing TD which proved to be the pivotal play in this matchup
  - Where the game was really won and lost comes down to the defense performances
  - Zach gets 20 pts out of the Texans D/ST while the Jag’s wind up on the side of a milk carton dropping a donut for Sean against the Cowboys (where you at Jalen Ramsey?)
  - Sean’s slide continues, as the Dorman takes this game, splitting the season series
  - Sean to 4-2, Zach to .500 at 3-3
- Matt 98 vs Jeff 138
  - Rough day for the Champ’s squad
  - Good day’s for Russ (23pts), Crabs (21pts) and Eric Ebron (17pts)
  - Not much else to see, OBJ loses another fight to an inanimate object on a 10pt day, and Deshaun Watson imitated an inanimate object against Buffalo managing only 6 pts
  - Jeff’s trio of Mahomes, Conner, and Sony Michel total 81 pts, carrying the workload for the squad
  - Jeff climbs to .500 dropping Matt to 2-4
- Mason 144 vs Anthony 178
  - Hope you took the over on this matchup
  - Mason might not have bee able to hear you from all the way down there while he sat on his high horse after Saquon scored 38 on TNF
  - Mitchell (not Mitch) added 29 in the Bears loss while Julio racked up 143 yards on 10 catches (no TD;s again) scoring 25 pts
  - Mason leaves 24 pts on the bench by not starting Alshon who got 27 on TNF
  - It didn’t matter, Mason becomes the second Shibuya to be plowed by Anthony as his train of TGIII, Tyreek Hill, and Matt Ryan score 107 on their own en route to a 170+ point shit pumping day
  - Someone call up Mecury Morris and the ’72 Dolphins so they can pop their champagne, the last undefeated team in the Mixer goes down, Mason to 5-1, Anthony to .500

This Week in the Mixer Ep 1.07: NFL Week 5, and McGregor/Khabib chaos

Introduction/Welcome
McGregor vs Khabib
- McGregor gets dominated
- - Once Khabib realized he had Conor beat, he tried to end the fight on his feet (props)

- - Conor taps, Khabib does not let go, Herb Dean has to pry Khabib’s hands apart

- Post-fight

- - Khabib gets up, throws his mouth piece at Conor, yells, spits at him, then goes over the top of the ring and attempts a flying head stomp at one of Conor’s trainers (who by all accounts must be a Chad)

- - Some of Khabib’s corner/trainers enter the Octagon and go after Conor, one guy rushes Conor and Conor preemptively swipes at him with a security guard in between them, then one of Khabib’s guys swings at Conor from behind

- - Once things settle (somewhat) Conor exits the arena, Dana explains to Khabib he will not give him his belt bc he feels he’ll get booed and showered with debris from the crowd

- My reaction

- - Initially the scene brings back images of the Malice at the Palace

- - Area Khabib went into is separated by barriers, so the paying public was not in as much danger as it appeared

- - Comparing Khabib’s actions to Conor’s dolly/bus incident is fair but there are some key differences

- - - Khabib’s was at live an event

- - - Put a larger number of people at risk

- - - Multiple members of his crew seemed to be ready to go instead of trying to de-escalate the situation

- Conor got off easy with the dolly incident

- - Should have gotten a more severe punishment

- - People did get seriously injured and fights had to be canceled

- - Definitely rec’d favorable treatment undoubtedly bc of the state of the UFC

- - pre-fight shenanigans are par for the course in the fight game

- - Dana White needs to do a better job of establishing where the line is

- Prediction of consequences

- - One of two ways this can go

- - - Khabib year-long suspension, vacates belt, Conor fights Ferguson for the interim belt, setting up a rematch for Khabib’s return

- - - Khabib gets some sort of fine, retains title, and returns to fight Ferguson (probably Super Bowl weekend) no suspension

- - Khabib did a lot of damage to his image when he could have capitalized on the fight outcome

- - The outcome behind closed doors probably depends in part on what Conor wants to do

- - Biggest draw in fighting at the moment

- - Does he want to put his legacy at risk against Khabib for a 2^nd time?

Week 5 recap’s
- Mason 150 vs Sean 115
- - Sean shows his team is mortal and comes back down to earth somewhat
- - Big Ben forces the ball to AB like he’s forcing his intentions on a hotel maid, going for 23 pts on 250yrds/3td’s
- - Robert Woods continues his strong season on 5/92/0td’s/19pts
- - Saquon, Luck, Diggs all go for over 20pts for Mason, Saquon did so on 48 yards on the ground really do his damage through the air with 4rec/81/2td’s (may have injured back on last TD)
- - Heading into MNF Mason carried a 116-98 lead with Drew Brees in hand vs Kamara and Michael Thomas
- - Mark Ingram eats into Kamara workload putting Sean on the hotseat
- - Brees feeds two long TD’s to rookie WR Tra’Quan Smith instead of Michael Thomas
- - Everything went Mason’s way on MNF, Winner winner chicken dinner, Mason is the last team left undefeated at 5-0, Sean’s run at history ends dropping to 4-1
- Jess 172 vs Matt 169 (Gardella Bowl) GAME OF THE WEEK
- - What’s the wager for this game?
- - Both teams go off
- - Jess has 6 players go for over 20 pts including a 3td 400+ yard garbage time day for Aaron Rodgers, and a 10rec/110/1td for Zach Ertz
- - Amari Cooper scores 1 pt on Jess’s bench
- - Matt has 5 go over 20 including OBJ who had 8/131/1td and added a bomb through the air, and a spot start for Eric Ebron 9/105/2td-s/32pts
- - Heading into MNF, Jess carried a 172-145 lead with Deshaun Watson on the table for Matt
- - 5 goal-line carries for Watson yielded no TD’s as the Dallas defensive line says, “you shall not pass”
- - Jess blue balls Matt, handing him his second straight loss 172-169 (not so nice)

- - Danny is struggling to find consistency in his roster
- - David Johnson scores 3td’s en route to a 20pt day, KA13 looks good and healthy again hauling in 8 passes for 90 yards
- - Doug Baldwin does his best Amari Cooper impression 1 catch/1 yard/1 pt
- - Mariota scores 5 pts against Buffalo….
- - Average production week for Anthony’s squad who was largely carried by Todd Gurley who scored 3 TD’s on 77 yards rushing (32 pt day) outscored Crowell who went for over 200 yards rushing
- - Garbage time Blake was in top form totaling 24 pts on 430 yards passing/1td/4int
- - Anthony wins comfortably dropping Danny to 1-4 Anthony has a shot at .500 next week moving to 2-3
- Zach 135 vs Jeff 133
- - Two mid-table mixer members match blow for blow in this contest
- - Mahomes comes slightly back down to earth scoring 18 and throwing 2 ints
- - James Conner blows up scoring 35pts on 110yds/2tds 4rec/75
- - Brady back to being Brady with 31pts on TNF, Rivers with 24pts, Hopkins 9/151/23pts
- - Questionable call by Jeff starting Sony Michel in the Superflex slot over Baker against Baltimore
- - Decision ends up costing Jeff the win dropping to 2-3, Zach on the upswing to 2-3 himself
- Jake 115 vs Rob 132
- - Core of lineups pretty evenly matched in this contest
- - Devante Adams heavily involved in garbage time comeback attempt for GB scoring 30 pts 9/140/1td
- - Antonio Brown was force fed ending up with 6/101/2td 29 pts
- - Jake with a chance to make things interesting on SNF with Zeke and Will Fuller
- - Zeke does not get in the endzone and scores 15 pts, while Will Fuller disappoints 2/15
- - The GAME wins comfortably thanks to TE and DEF production 132-115, Jake to 1-4, Rob to 3-2
- Scoring around the NFL seems to be reined in slightly
